Why We’re Here

I started Perpetual Motion Games because I love tabletop gaming. I consider it not just one of the best ways to connect and have fun with friends but also a fantastic medium to tell stories. I wanted to take the extra step and build games that resonated with me and hopefully others out there like me rather than trying to hack other systems and settings to fit my needs. All of the games made at PM are centered around constant movement and progression as well as rewards specifically for playing not just the game but your character! As the creator of PM I only ask that you try out the experiences I built for you and let me know how I can improve them, if you enjoy yourself along the way then I will count that as a wonderful step down what will hopefully be an endless road of successes.

Roleplaying Games

Our Role Playing Games are designed with our home built Perpetual Motion system. An RPG system that focuses on fast combat that can turn at a moments notice and rewards players who reach for success right when things are at their bleakest. Our RPGs can also be enjoyed with small close groups of 2-3 people rather than the conventional 5-6 adventuring parties.

Murder Mysteries

In addition to games and storytelling PM is proud to offer murder mystery parties for you and anywhere between 5-10 of your friends. Featuring larger than life characters and bizarre circumstance people will be dying to come to your parties!

Living Worlds

Perpetual Motion is about so much more than games, it hopes to create living breathing worlds that artists and creators can contribute and grow within. We want to tell stories in every way we can, it starts with games but very soon it will spread into the world short stories, comics, and even films.

Meet The Players

Christian (he/him)

Christian has been working on PM since 2019 and still hasn’t decided how much to charge for it. He hopes to one day be a full time RPG creator. Until then he is content being the adoptive father of three cats and bearer of far too many opinions.

Kat (she/her)

Kat is a chemical engineer who seems to be only friends with theater freaks. She aspires to teach, eat soup, and bake for her friends but tbh who has the time?

Lyra (she/they)

Lyra can only be described as a cryptid. She enjoys collecting bones and reading fortunes and hopes to own a haunted home to sell Kat’s soup out of one day. Unfortunately she is also a theater kid. You can find me on TikTok @yourwitchywoman

Grant (they/she)

Grant is an actor and TTRPG enthusiast. Living in Jersey, most of their time is spent cooking and talking with Kat, Christian, and Lyra! They also have a wonderful kitty named Clara that they live with. Their hobbies are makeup, advocacy, and video games.
